Our areas of expertise include software vulnerability analysis, network security and applied cryptography. Our president is Dr. Avi Rubin. ISE was founded to provide rigorous, academically-oriented security expertise to the commercial sector. We have dozens of combined years of experience in evaluating and designing commercial security systems. Prior to founding ISE, our analysts implemented the first practical attack on 802.11b WEP; published a widely-read analysis of the Diebold Electronic Voting machine source code; and successfully reverse-engineered a cryptographic RFID device used to secure millions of automobiles. We founded ISE in order to apply our expertise and academic training to making commercial products more secure. In the past couple of years we've experienced phenomenal success, and have developed one of the industry's best software security groups. ISE is located in Baltimore, Maryland. |
